WPRS Run Fur Rescue

The Winnipeg Pet Rescue Shelter is a registered charity which relies solely on the kindness of the general public. They are not funded in any way by the government or any government agencies. In order to continue their work, they need to raise funds through different awareness campaigns. Run fur Rescue aims to raise as much money as possible to support the shelter. Your registration will help take care of animals in their care.
Schedule
- 9:15-10:15am – Check-in/registration
- 10:30-11:45am – 5km walk/run with your pet
- 12:00-1:00pm – Refreshments and snacks at Cargo Bar
- 12:00-4:30pm – Paw Print keepsake done by Kal Barteski
- 4:30-4:45pm – Closing Remarks/Thank You’s
- 4:45-5:00pm – Silent Auction Prizing and 50/50

Requirements
All four-legged friends participating in the event must have up to date vaccinations, including rabies vaccination.
Owners will be asked to grade their pets social comfort level with a coloured ribbon provided:
- Green = I’m happy to visit with others
- Yellow = I need some time to warm up to others
- Red = Please give me some space
