This started as a sad story, but these kittens have begun a happy chapter in their lives.

Minnow, Flounder, Sebastian, Ariel and Scuttle were all adopted to loving homes in September.

Another sad story to report from the shelter… Five tiny kittens were found abandoned in a plastic bag in a back lane in the Garden City area last Friday. Someone found them and immediately brought them in to the closest animal hospital. There, they were health checked and found to be healthy yet malnourished. They are very tiny which means they are less than 6 weeks old.

They were brought to the Winnipeg Pet Rescue Shelter for a warm comfy bed and to be cared for until they are old enough and strong enough to go into permanent homes. Please come down and meet them today, they deserve a second chance at a happy and healthy life. They are currently available for pre-adoption.

Please people, we cannot stress this enough…DO NOT leave animals abandoned to die. Call a shelter or animal hospital for help!

Thank you
