Thank you to everyone who helped with the Yard Sale last Saturday.
We could have not asked for a better group of willing, capable, strong and helpful people to help carry out the hard work needed all day. Some of you came bright and early at 6:30am, lifted heavy boxes and furniture. Some of you came in days before and priced items by sorting through boxes in a hot POD, planned out sections of the area to make the items organized. Some of you slaved over a hot BBQ in 30 degree weather for hours. Thank you to those who brought the PODS, the BBQ and ALL the ITEMS. Many of you assisted people by lending your vehicle, time and strength. You dressed up in a dog mascot costume in 30 degree weather and brought people into our Shelter, held signs out on the street, blew-up balloons, sat at our promo booth, spread news over radio and inspired people to donate and be a part of our mission and vision at the Shelter – to help those who have no voice.
